Plitvice Lakes & Rastoke — two natural wonders, one day
A private round-trip day tour from Zagreb combining Plitvice Lakes National Park with the watermill village of Rastoke. Your driver takes you to both, waits while you explore, and brings you back the same day.
Key Information
Licensed transportation company with professionally licensed chauffeurs, operating to the standards recognized across the international chauffeur industry.
Why pair these two together
Rastoke sits almost directly on the road to Plitvice, about 1.5 hours from Zagreb — so stopping there adds very little extra driving compared to a Plitvice-only trip. It's a small village of old watermills built over waterfalls on the Slunjčica river, often called "mini Plitvice" for its similar turquoise water and cascades, just on a much smaller, quieter scale.
From Rastoke it's another 30-40 minutes to Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia's oldest and largest national park, where the bulk of your day is spent exploring the 16 terraced lakes and waterfalls.
What you'll see along the way
Rastoke
A cluster of century-old wooden watermills perched over cascading waterfalls where the Slunjčica meets the Korana river. Small enough to see on foot in under an hour, but a genuinely scenic detour on the way south.
Plitvice Lakes National Park
A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979 — sixteen terraced lakes connected by waterfalls and wooden footbridges through forest. This is where most of your day will be spent.

How much time do we spend at each location?
Typically 45-60 minutes at Rastoke and 4-5 hours at Plitvice Lakes, though the schedule is flexible based on your pace.
